Jeremiah 23:25-28 reads, “I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’ How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds?… Let the prophet who has a dream recount the dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully…”
Although Jeremiah felt unqualified to be a prophet to the nation of Israel, God uses him. God addresses the false prophets of the day as we have self-appointed prophets today.
As God told Jeremiah, Let the prophets who has a dream recount their dreams, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully…”
Let us do likewise.
This series alone should be well considered. Whether in a personal time of reflection and devotion, or used to reach others with the hope we have in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
