Jesus loves me
Though I am unworthy
He is the Living Word
My crucified and risen Lord
Washing my sins away
Grace upon grace
A debt beyond measure
Mercy’s triumphant treasure
Jesus loves me
Though I am unworthy
Stumbling in total darkness
Transformed by righteousness
My hardened heart of stone
The Holy Spirit made His throne
I am redeemed by this love so great
God’s only Son died to save!
Jesus loves even me
Though I am unworthy
His promises are ever true
Nothing more I must do
Praising Him on bended knee
Faith is all I need
Joyfully awaiting His royal return
I claim the reward I did not earn
For Jesus loves me!
This I know
He is worthy, worthy, worthy!
