My spirit rejoices in God our Savior!*
The risen Son of man is our hope forever
When his love appeared, he saved us
By his mercy, grace and righteousness
To all believers he shows steadfast love
Promising citizenship in heaven above
So we await the soon return of Christ Jesus
God’s only Son, our Redeemer who rescued us
He is exalted at the right hand of God the Father
Giving repentance and forgiving our sins forever
We see and testify to God’s gift of the Living Word
Our Lord, Christ Jesus, to be the Savior of the world!
