Oh joyless captives of Babylon
Remember God’s promise
The return of His only Son!
Light shining in total darkness
Abandon your idol worship
Only one deserves your praise
Let repentance rule your lips
Feast on fathomless grace
Claim redemption’s power and peace
Christ Jesus suffered and died for you!
Bow down to Him on bended knees
Rise up with steadfast faith anew
The Creator calls us to Mount Zion
Sanctification paves the only way
Through the blood of His beloved Son
Rejoice! for He is our hope every day!
