So, why is it that we are not seeking our eternal inheritance? The fact is that many who believe in the eternal God and the cross of Jesus Christ and the resurrection may never enter that eternal rest.
But the fact that the eternal God who created us for eternal purposes wants us saved. In John 17, Jesus prayed, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God…”
